HES was formed in 2010 with the aim of offering service support and preventative maintenance contracts for the Pathology and Histology markets. We have over 10 years experience working within this field and this experience ensures you receive quality service accompanied by a wide product knowledge and great stakeholder management.
The focus of HES is to offer a better quality product than you can get from your current provider with direct customer service, improved records and superior logistics management.
Services
microtomes
HES can fully support your microtome instrumentation. We offer service contracts and one off maintenance visits. Where possible we service the instruments to factory specification and disassemble the instrument, cleaning and re-lubricating the micrometer mechanism. With more than 10 years experience on these instruments we can quickly diagnose faults, restoring optimal sectioning performance.
cryostats
Both routine and research cryostats serviced and maintained. As with the microtomes we support disassembling the instrument then cleaning and re-lubricating the micrometer mechanism on every service visit. Our experience in fault finding on cryostats means we can offer advice on knife holder geometry and application support for sectioning.
tissue processors & histology stainers
Stainers and tissue processors serviced and maintained by HES. Our experience of histology and engineering gives me a unique understanding of the staining and tissue processing operations. Drawing on this experience HES can offer application support as well as providing fault finding and preventative maintenance.
histology cassette & slide printers
We offer service support for printers with software support included. HES can fully support your Nice Label software package. Designing new forms and labels, integrating bar codes and transferring data to new PC's.
Microscope Servicing
HES can provide instrument service and calibration. Our service of microscopes is comprehensive. We can service all makes and models working with a network of instrumentation engineers with 50 years combined experience in the servicing of microscopes. We offer calibration with UKAS certified equipment and corresponding calibration reports. We also have an extensive network with all major manufacturers supporting us with spare parts and instrument drawings for correct service of the equipment.
engineering workshop
HES can offer a fully equipped engineering workshop with capabilities for machining and welding in all types of metals. This gives a unique capability to offer re-working of older parts on instruments no longer supported, new bespoke parts can be manufactured to keep your important equipment working into the future. Bespoke engineered solutions for your unique projects, from initial design concept through working model.
